2 days of guided walks to see the most beautiful sights of the Haut Diois and the South Vercors: the romantic Vallon de Combeau, the (almost) "unreachable" Mont Aiguille and the High-Plateaus natural reserve. All absolutely magical!
It will also be the opportunity to taste the local specialties: ravioles, caillette, Bénevise's bread, and of course the famous Clairette. Your guide loves it already. You will soon share the same tastes and enjoy the evenings with him, he knows so well the area! Finally, more than a guide, it becomes a true companion. Your weekend in the details... Friday: Encounter and welcome at 6pm at the Petite Auberge in front of the station in Die. Saturday: Visit the town of Die and its famous market. Transfer in altitude for a country picnic. A crest path between Diois and Trieves with superb views of the mountains of the Oisans and Dévoluy will lead us to the Vallon Combeau known for its abundant flora in spring. 2-4 hours of walking. D +: 200 to 500 m. D-: 300 m. Night at the inn of Combeau. Sunday: great day in the High-Plateaus natural reserve of Vercors, the largest reserve of France. Maybe we'll have the chance to meet marmots and chamois. Our roaming, from secret valleys to sheephold, will undoubtedly lead us to the Tête Chevalière or the Montagnette, incomparable viewpoints on the Mont Aiguille. 4-6 h. of walk. D +: 500 to 700 m. D-500 to 700 m. Transfer to the station in Die separation at 5pm.
