At the crossroads of the Alps and Provence, the Drôme is rich with 2,500 kilometres of marked bridal ways.
A favourite destination for those participating in horse treks. The Drôme has around one hundred horse riding centres spread across the whole department, with which you can go on treks in the sumptuous landscape.
Do you want to trek on your own with your own horse? The lodgings and inns of “Drôme à Cheval” are waiting for you! They are especially dedicated to horse riders and their horses.
Do you prefer a night under the stars, the sound of the wind through the pine trees, the breath of your horse at your side? Then the adapted camp sites are more suited to you.
This association has existed for more than 20 years. It organises the marking of bridal ways, informs the riders on suitable routes and where they are welcome to stay, they guide you in preparing your itinerary and organise your stay with family or friends. Itineraries, descriptions of overnight stops in inns, gîtes or bed and breakfasts, the directory of equestrian centres which specialise in treks and accompanied hikes can all be found on their web site or from the association’s secretary.
