Le Grand Echaillon

Altitude of 1,180 – 1,450 m

Season 2021/2022, our ski slopes will be opened from 18 December 2021 to 13 March 2022.
Potential opening on the weekends of December, depending on the weather conditions.

Grand Echaillon is located in a sheltered, quality Nordic area which comprises of 28 km of groomed and marked trails, as well as 30 kilometres of snow shoeing and walking trails. Its Auberge (inn) will please food lovers, where in a warm and friendly atmosphere you can enjoy many delicious regional specialities.

Close by: a Nordic area

The resort of Grand Echaillon is in the regional nature reserve, and is located less than 1 hour from the Drômoises agglomerations and for the locals it’s an obvious destination for nature and mountains. Hidden in the Royans magnificent landscapes, this site shelters a quality Nordic ski area, where we can also enjoy many delicious regional specialities.

There are 40 km of groomed and marked cross country trails, organised in loops of different difficulties. 30 km of snow shoe and walking trails and also toboggan runs, children’s beginner areas, accompanied snow shoe and moonlight snow shoe outings.

If you’re passing the Auberge du Grand Echaillon (the inn in Grand Echaillon), do not hesitate to pop in: it’s open all year, except during the months of April and November.
